- Originally a third generation member of AKB48 and a founding member of Team B, she was transferred to Team A during the AKB48 team shuffle in 2012, then back to Team B during the AKB48 Group Grand Shuffle in 2014.
- Originally auditioned for AKB48's 2nd generation.
- Yonezawa Rumi gave her the nickname "Mayuyu" (まゆゆ).
- Admires and respects Hirajima Natsumi.
