- Information
"Young, Alive, in Love" is the second single recorded by FLIPPER'S GUITAR. This is the duo's first original single after "Friends Again" was cut from their debut album. The Japanese title of the song is "Koi to Machine Gun" (恋とマシンガン; Love and a Machine Gun). It has been described as an "Italian film soundtrack-flavored single" that used as the theme song for the TV show Youbikou Bugi.[1] The single was written, composed, and produced by by the duo under the name Double K.O. Corp. The B-side is a reference to the Britpop band Haircut One Hundred.
The single was a giant success for the group. "Young, Alive, in Love" is their besting selling single to date.[2] It was the lead-in to their second studio album CAMERA TALK which was released in June 1990. Both songs are featured on the record.
