Wagakki Band

Wagakki Band (和楽器バンド) is a Japanese rock/traditional instruments band under avex trax. The band consists of seven musicians and a vocalist who fuse traditional Japanese instruments with contemporary rock. The shigin lead singer Suzuhana Yuko and seven musicians fuse Vocaloid songs with wagakki (traditional Japanese musical instruments) and Western rock. They cover vocaloid songs as in their album VOCALO Zanmai and also compose their original music in subsequent albums.

In 2014, Wagakki Band was invited to perform at Japan Expo 2014 in France and held their first oversea independent concert in Taipei in 2015. On July 4, 2015, Wagakki Band headlined a sold-out concert at Club Nokia in Los Angeles as a main event at Anime Expo. Their music video "Tengaku" was seen more than 200,000 times in four days. Moreover, the music video of the song "Senbonzakura" has received more than 50 million views on YouTube.

Their first single "Ame Nochi Kanjouron" is released this week on September 6th.
