y'z factory

y'z factory was a Japanese pop trio from 1999 to 2002 under Nippon Columbia. The group was formed in 1999 after the three girls were spotted at the Okinawa Actors School. The group got their name from take the first name initials from each girl. The group released their first single "Brand-New Start" soon after. But, on January 31, 2002, the group broke up. Yamada Yu and Yagi Yuka went on to pursue their own solo career.
