Information

3776 wo Kikanai Riyuu ga Aru to Sureba is the debut studio album recorded by 3776, and their third Season #3 release. It was first released in a CD format, and a year later it was released as a vinyl record. The whole album runs for a total of 3776 seconds, which is also the altitude of Mt.Fuji. It has been described as a concept record where Ide Chiyono serves as a navigator, and she climbs Mt. Fuji one meter per second. Producer Ishida Akira said regarding his concept for the album, "I wanted to make such a CD where there is a full story that connects the songs and the songs work together."[1] It is mixed so that the tracks bleed into one another.

Much like their prior material, this album contains a while range of material. Ishida described the atmosphere of the songs as ambient-ish. There are songs that are more electronic and pop, while there are songs that are rock heavy and pull elements from shoegaze and math rock. Ishida has cited noise rock bands such as Sonic Youth and XTC as inspiration.[2] In a review by Harada Kazunori of Music Magazine, he gave the album 10 full marks. The album was named a year in favorite by musicians such as Utamaru from RHYMESTER, and Koide Yusuke from Base Ball Bear.

The album reached #200 on the weekly Oricon chart, and it continued to rank for a total of two weeks.
