"Butterfly" is the 11th single (fourth east west japan single) released by PENICILLIN. This is their last single to be released in 8cm CD format. This is also a post-album single, originally being track #10 from their fifth album "Ultimate Velocity". The title song was used as Asahi TV's "Change!" drama ending theme song. The single reached #24 on the Oricon chart, where it charted for four weeks.
