CLOSER is MONDO GROSSO's third studio album and the final album to be released under FOR LIFE MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT. It was also the first album to not feature the original lineup. On September 22, 2004, all MONDO GROSSO albums under FOR LIFE MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT were re-released in CD format.
