Eikura Nana was discovered as a model in her second year of junior high school while she was in Shibuya. She was made an exclusive model of Seventeen immediately after becoming part of the entertainment world. When Nana was in junior high, she had also been part of the theater group there. In 2004, she started acting professionally, co-starring next to more popular actors like Ito Misaki, Matsumoto Jun, Nagasawa Masami and Yamashita Tomohisa. In fact, after co-starring with Nagasawa and Yamashita in Proposal Daisakusen, she received the Best Supporting Actress award from Nikkan Sports Drama Grand Prix awards. More recently, in August 2007, she was the leading actress in a movie called AWA Dance.

On August 8th, 2007, the NHK TV channel selected her from an audition of more than 1,600 candidates, for their 2008 Asadora, titled Hitomi. In the dorama, Nana will play the part of an aspiring dancer from Sapporo who moves to Tokyo, where she lives with her grandfather and his three foster children.
