"for my life" is Koizumi Kyoko's 38th single. The single was released after appearing on the album Otoko no Ko Onna no Ko. The title track was used as the theme song for the dorama Renai Kekkon no Rule which Koizumi starred in as the character Nakajima Asako. The single reached #33 on the weekly Oricon charts and charted for two weeks, selling 16,000 copies.
