Information

Futari is Okuda Miwako's debut album, released only a month after one of her most successful singles ("Ame to Yume no Ato ni"). It features six tracks from her previous four singles, a live track and six new songs. It reached #40 on the Oricon charts, charting for 4 weeks.

Futari is a pop/rock album, alternating ballads and more energetic songs (sometimes these two styles in the same song). Its uniqueness comes from the words which detonated in the cozy world of J-pop. Miwako tells stories of lack, doubt and pain. Several songs deal with thoughts and evoke suicide and death...
