"Kanousei Girl" is the second single released by Kuriyama Chiaki, and the first using her name spelled in kanji. This was released in three different versions: a regular CD only edition, a limited CD+DVD edition coming with the title song's PV along with its making of video, and a limited Gintama CD only edition that comes with the title song's instrumental and a special opening version of the track. The titular track was used as an opening theme song for the anime Yorinuki Gintama-san. The single reached #30 on the Oricon weekly charts, where it charted for five weeks, selling 7,694 copies.
