MICHI made her debuted at the age of 19 as an anisong singer from Okinawa. Her debuted single "Cry for the Truth / Secret Sky" was released on July 22, 2015 and the songs were used for the anime, Rokka no Yuusha. A half a year later she released her second single, "Checkmate!?" on January 27, 2016. The single was used as the opening theme to the anime, Dagashi Kashi. Four months later she released her third single, "Realistic" on May 8, 2016. The single was used as the ending theme to the anime, Kuromukuro. She released her first album, Sprint for the Dreams on September 21st 2016. She was a guest at the 2016 Anime Expo, and a guest at Otakon 2016.
MICHI held her first live concert called Sprint for the Dreams ~Unknown Dimension~ on November 12th, 2016. She will have her first live tour in July called I4U ~Supernatural~.
