Information

"Manatsu no Yoru no Yume" is the fifth public single release from Houkago Princess, and the seventh indies release overall. The single is the first from the group to come in 8 different types. This is also the first single to feature the 6th generation Cadet members Michishige Saho, Miyashita Maika and Sirosaki Himari.

The single will feature songs that were previously limited to venues, or unreleased; Kojiki Shika!, Housoubu Please and [Ohayou]] were all released in 2012 and limited to buy, whilst Cho HAPPY BIRTHDAY, which debuted in 2012, has only ever been sung during lives, marking this as the songs single debut.

2.5 jigen no Genjitsu is the second solo song of 2.5 generation member, Miyashita Mayuka.

Despite not being a part of the single, Sakuragi Nene is featured on both the Type-A and Type-E covers of the single.

The single debuted at #1 on the Oricon charts, and achieved #7 overall weekly ranking, marking the single as the groups highest achievement on the Oricon yet.
