Information

Mi-Ke formed in 1991 as the back-up chorus singers for the band B.B.QUEENS. They also released their first single during the same time, entitled "Omoide no Kujuukurihama". Then three months later, they released their first album, Omoide no G S Kujuukurihama, which had the theme of revival covers. The group went onto later that year to win the Rookie of the Year award at various award ceremonies, including the Golden Discs Award and Nihon Record Taishou. They also made their first appearance on the end of the year program Kouhaku Uta Gassen.

In 1992, the group became regulars on the music program NHK Hit Stage. But, a year later, the group broke up after their release of their last single, "Please Please Me, LOVE". Only Utoku Keiko would go onto to establish a solo career after the group disbanded.
