Mizu no Akashi is a pop song recorded by Tanaka Rie as the character Lacus Clyne. The song was used as an insert song for PHASE-36 and 41 of the anime Mobile Suit Gundam SEED and first appeared in "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED SUIT CD vol.3 LACUS x HARO". An acoustic version was later featured in Tanaka's mini-album "Chara de Rie". The English version of the song was covered by Jillian Michaels and was used for the English dub of Gundam SEED.
