"Namida no Oto" is the third single (second major) released by Tawata Emi. The title track was described as a ballad song "about pain but all in all it's a positive love song for an important person close to me ". "The Christmas Song", a cover from Mel Tormé and Robert Wells's song of the same name, which was released as her first digital single one year earlier. The single did not chart on the Oricon charts.
