Nasu Asaco (南壽あさ子) is a Japanese singer-songwriter under the label TOY'S FACTORY. She learned playing piano at a very young age, and began musical activity when she was part of her university's music club. She was inspired by western artists such as Elton John, Tom Waits, Bob Dylan, Carole King, but also Japanese artists like HAPPY END, Matsutoya Yumi, Yamashita Tatsuro and OFF COURSE. In 2010, she started performing live in Tokyo, and released her first demo tape "Kaiyuugyo no Genfuukei" 2 years later. It was limited in 300 copies and sold out in 2 months. In June of 2012, she made her indies debut with the single "Flannel", produced by Atsushi Yuasa, under the label qbism. She then made her major debut under her current label with the single "Watashi no Nostalgia" in October 2013.
