Information

Odaka Megumi got her start in show business when she won the grand prix award at the Toho Cinderella Audition. She made her acting career debut in the movie Taketori Monogatari as the character Akeno in 1987. Odaka got her most famous role two years later when she landed the role of the character Saegusa Miki in the movie Godzilla vs. Biollante. She continued to play the character in five other Godzilla movies afterwards.

She also made her singing career debut in 1988 with the single "Soushin no Eki". But in 2000, Odaka decided to retire due to suffering from poor health after she withdrew from the musical Hi no Tori.
