Pay Money To My Pain (PTP for short) was a popular Japanese rock band signed to VAP. All of the band's lyrics are in English. They debuted in 2006 with EP "Drop of Ink".

K, vocalist of the band, died on December 30, 2012 at age 31 due to acute heart failure at his home in Yokohama. After that, in 2013 PTP released a farewell album "gene".

In the early 2000s, Kei has been a leader and vocalist of the band Gun Dog, but in late 2003, the band disbanded. In 2005 he founded Pay Money To My Pain. A year later they released first mini-album "Drop of Ink". Once Kei said, that his lyrics expressed his deepest pain and when fans bought the CDs, they were literally buying into his pain. This is largely due to the fact that Kei was often in poor physical condition and suffered from mental health issues.

By 2012, the band was widely known not only among Japanese fans, but also in other countries.

In June of that year vocalist K was hospitalized. In that summer, Pay Money to My Pain performed their live show "House of Chaos". They covered BUCK-TICK's song "Love Letter" for Parade II -Respective Tracks of Buck-Tick-, released on July 4, 2012. In October, K was again hospitalized and went through rehabilitation; This was the reason for the temporary suspension of the band's activities. On December 30, 2012, K died of acute heart failure in his Yokohama home.
