PIPO☆Angel's (ピポ☆エンジェルズ) was a Japanese pop girl group originally formed by four "Pichi Lemon" magazine models. In 2007, three new members joined the group, however they disbanded that same year. All the members belonged to the Tambourine Artists agency.

Information

PIPO☆Angel's was created as a collaboration by the fashion magazine "Pichi Lemon" and the fashion brand Angel Blue. The unit was first announced at the "Pichi Lemon Natsu Matsuri 2003" event in August 2003, and the group released their debut single, "Luvly, Merry-Go-Round", in September under Sony Music Japan. The title track was used as CM for McDonald's Happy Sets. Immediately after the release, the group appeared on several music programs. During all of their performances, as expected, the girls wore clothing from Angel Blue (also being sold at events), and in the music video for "Luvly, Merry-Go-Round" the focus point was of the group trying on the brand clothing. They were also present at the grand opening of Narumiya shops in various Japanese cities, South Korea and Hong Kong.

Despite performing lives often and doing radio shows, PIPO☆Angel's never earned a big fanbase. After ending their radio show, the group went on hiatus in August 2004. Each member released a DVD titled "GROWING UP" the same month, and in November 2005 the DVD series was released as a compilation. The girls reunited once again to promote its release in Akihabara.

Since the hiatus of PIPO☆Angel's, all four girls continued to focus on their modeling. Asada Miho was a part of the one-time unit Soran Happies and Ute Manami graduated from "Pichi Lemon" to focus on a gravure and solo career.

In December 2006, Manami announced on her blog that PIPO☆Angel's would be reforming, and in June the acquiring of three new members was announced. The group moved to Index Music label and released their first single in almost four years in July 2007. The single, "Nanairo no Rakuen", would also become their last release, as they unofficially disbanded the following year.
