SIX BOMB (식스밤) was a 3-member Korean pop girl group under World Event Agency. The group debuted in 2012 under Jang Entertainment as a 6-member group. They disbanded in May 2021.

The group was formed in Summer 2010 and trained together for a year and a half and debuted on January 17, 2012 with "Chikichiki Bom" on stage but officially on January 27th with the MV.

The group originally of 6 members debuted with 5, after Subin fell down the stairs and injured her leg days before her debut, preventing her from promoting with the others.

2015: Group changes

At the end of 2012 it was believed that the group had disbanded, however, in May 2015 SIX BOMB made its return to the K-Pop scene with a new line-up, after the departure of the original members Nabi, Jiwoo, Uihyun, Youngji and Subin. The only original member was Hyejin, who changed her stage name to Soa. The group has also changed their label to Pace Maker Entertainment. The group returned in 2015 with a new version of "Step To Me", a song that was released on their first mini-album in 2012.

2016: Comeback with 'Wait 10 Years Baby'

SIX BOMB promoting "10 Nyeonman Gidaryeo Baby" (2016)

After 9 months the group made their comeback on February 19th with the release of their second digital single "10 Nyeonman Gidaryeo Baby", the MV was released on the same day. Their song caused great impact and the group enjoyed a lot of popularity, registering more than 6 million views, but time later the label withdrew the music video because many netizens found it offensive and controversial.

2017: Departures and comeback

SIX BOMB promoting "Yeppeojineun Jungipnida Before" (2017)

At the beginning of February 2017, after 1 year without promotions, it was informed that the members Uchung and Hanbit had left the group for personal reasons, they were replaced by Gabin and Seulbi.

On February 8th they released the third digital single "Yeppeojineun Jungipnida Before". The MV shows the members without makeup, subjected to procedures and receiving professional consultations.

SIX BOMB said they spent 100 million won (approximately $ 89,000) on their plastic surgery procedures. They didn't reveal exactly what they did, but they said they underwent plastic surgery in the upper half of their bodies.

On March 16th SIX BOMB released their fourth digital single "Yeppeojineun Jungipnida After", which shows the results of their plastic surgery. It begins with the members entering a clinic with their pink suits, the so-called "sausage suits" that caused a stir during their last promotions, before showing a comparison of the "before" and the "after" of each member.

On July 26th, was revealed that member Seulbi had left the group, being replaced by I Sol, who was already known to have been among the ten finalists of the first season of the Superstar K.

2018: Gabin departure

Was revealed that member Gabin has a rare disease where she is missing cartilage which makes it near impossible for her to dance, there are surgeries that can be done, but no guarantee that the surgery will help. They were supposed to have a comeback in February, but the discovery of the disease has changed a lot.
