"Salamander" is the sixth and last single released by ELLEGARDEN. This was released simultaneously with their "Doggy Bags" DVD. The single reached #3 on Oricon charts and charted for fifteen weeks. This single broke the record for the indies single with the most copies sold in a week (beating out GOING STEADY's "Seishun Jidai" by 9,000 copies). As this single sold 149,585 copies in 2006, it was the #65 single of the year.
