"SHOCK -Unmei-" is the debut single released by Kuroki Meisa. It was released in two versions: a limited CD+DVD edition and a regular CD edition. The single was produced by Jeff Miyahara. The title track was used as the commercial theme for KIRIN's COLA SHOCK. "SHOCK -Unmei-" is a dance pop song, featuring a sample from Beethoven's "Fate". The music video was directed by Kubo Shigeaki. The single managed to chart on Billboard Japan's Hot 100, ranking in at #84. It also peaked at #13 on the Recording Industry Association of Japan's Music Chart.

There are currently two version of "SHOCK -Unmei-" to be found in Kuroki Meisa's discography. They are listed below in order of release:

SHOCK -Unmei-: Found on the "SHOCK -Unmei-" single as track #1. It was later include on the full length MAGAZINE album as track #6. It was also used on DJ KAORI'S JMIX 3 as track #18.
SHOCK -Unmei- (instrumental): Found on the "SHOCK -Unmei" single as track #3. This is the instrumental version of the song without any vocals.

The single reached #25 on the weekly Oricon chart, and it continued to rank for a total of five weeks.
