"Sodatsu Zassou" is Onitsuka Chihiro's 11th single, and her first under the label Universal Japan after leaving Toshiba EMI. "Sodatsu Zassou" sees Onitsuka depart from her former ballad-style to a hard rock style. The single received minimal promotion (it did not even have a music video) and was only performed once, at Space Shower's 15th Anniversary special. The performance was later made available as a free video download on Onitsuka's website, from October 27 to November 10, 2004. The single reached #10 in Oricon charts and stayed in the charts for four weeks, selling 30,447 units. In its first week it sold 21,979 copies - two thirds of the single's total sales.
