Style Guide:Singles
Hey Generasia the following is an example of a proper single page. Please hit edit to take a look at the coding used here to see how to properly set up a Single page. Here are a couple things to remember when editing pages:
- Please try to use proper English.
- For Japanese titled tracks please link the romanized text, with the kana in parenthesis, and the translation in italics next to it. (see track #3 on the example)
- When creating release pages for singles, songs, albums, EPs, DVDs use correct Title Capitalization. A lot of J-Pop has strange capitalization, but pages should "a little pain" opposed to "a little pain".
- Remember if something in this format does not apply to your release, feel free to leave it out. It can be filled in later when the information is known and avoids empty clutter.

"Contrail" is the 67th single recorded by Amuro Namie. It was used as theme song to the TBS drama Soratobu Kouhou Shitsu. It was the last single released lead-ing up to the July 2013 release of her tenth studio album FEEL. The song was produced by longtime collaborator Nao'ymt, and was his only song on FEEL. The song was released internationally in May 2013 by avex to ten foreign countries: Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Germany, Ireland, France, Spain, Taiwan, United States, and Canada.
It is an electronic pop song in the vain of "Dr.". Nao'ymt wrote the lyrics about self-empowerment and talks about themes of confidence and hope. "Contrail" was quite success reaching #8 on Billboard Japan's Hot 100 and #7 on their Japan Radio Songs Chart. It even ranked in as the #65 best selling song of 2013 according to Billboard Japan. The song is certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of Japan for selling over 250,000 full downloads.

Music Video
The music video for "Contrail" was directed by Nino. The video was shot in downtown Los Angeles, California at Pershing square. It features Amuro walking through the city along with children.
