Talk:Matsuda Seiko

I don't think we should count her English language albums with the same count as her Japanese studio albums. We don't seem to do this for anyone else. ~ Themonkeyofdoom 15:28, 25 March 2010 (UTC)

They don't appear as "English albums" in her official site because they were released in Japan as regular (but in English) albums, like SOUND OF MY HEART . Also her stage name "SEIKO" appears as a little note on those album pages, more anecdotal than anything else.
There's also Eternal, which is a cover album, but is counted as a regular studio album --Pizca 16:02, 25 March 2010 (UTC)
I wasn't talking about what was on her site, I was just bringing up a point, we haven't include other artists English albums in the same count in their studio albums. The cover album definitely shouldn't be counted as a studio album, since it's not lol. ~ Themonkeyofdoom 22:25, 25 March 2010 (UTC)
What I meant was that on websites for artists like Utada, those albums are clearly apart from her main discography. But it doesn't happen with Matsuda, her English albums are counted as regular albums, in English, but regular albums.
About the cover album, yeah, it's absurd but it's how they have done, maybe because it includes one no-covered song? I don't know, but I think it's more annoying when an artists releases something new and the advertisement doesn't matches with our count (That's why we do the re-debut count, right?)
And sorry if I'm explaining bad, my fever strikes again XD--Pizca 23:04, 25 March 2010 (UTC)
Are you talking about how like Kylee's new single "Kimi ga Iru Kara" is being called her debut, enough though it's her second? If so, I agree it's annoying, I ranted about it already on my talk page. Anyways lol, we don't need to count Seiko's cover album in her studio album. ~ Themonkeyofdoom 00:46, 26 March 2010 (UTC)
Not specifically about her, but yes, I was referring to that. Anyways, I'm going to list them as they appear on her official website, as well on the Japanese Wikipedia, and I think it's better leave it for you to judge if they should be apart or not ^^.
BTW, I listed those huge boxes releases (with 5 or much more discs) as Special Releases because I don't know which title that section might have. It's ok like that?--Pizca 10:21, 26 March 2010 (UTC)
