"The Faust" is Doremidan's ninth single. This is the fourth part in a five month consecutive release schedule. The first part was the live DVD "Tokyo Himehajime 2 -2006.1.7 LIVE at LIQUID ROOM ebisu-", the second and third parts are the two last one-track singles ("Sangatsu" and "Tsuisou no Shinkirou"), and the last part is the album "Kaleidoscope". The single is a limited release having only 5,000 copies. The single reached #4 on the indies Oricon chart, and #76 on the Oricon chart where it stayed for a week.
