thermo plastic is the fourth studio album released by hitomi. First presses include an acoustic version of "Kimi no Tonari" as bonus track, a labeled CD and come housed in a blue CD case. The album reached #2 on the weekly Oricon charts and charted for nine weeks, selling 316,250 copies. It also charted #75 on the yearly Oricon charts for 1999.
