About Me

History

My first exposure to Asian music began with Utada Hikaru's "Exodus" and BoA's "Girls on Top" late in 2005. In the summer of 2006, I discovered Morning Musume, and focused on music by them and other Hello! Project groups. After the graduation of the Elder Club in 2009, I gradually listened to other groups more often.

In 2007, I was introduced to three new K-pop groups: KARA, Girls' Generation, and Wonder Girls. I consider them my "Big Three" in K-pop groups. Although I casually and occasionally listen to a few other groups, my main K-pop interest includes these three, plus Younha and BoA.

Most of my current listening nowadays are from the GIZA Studio and related labels.

(I plan to include more information soon, including an expansion on some of the music I enjoy. Visiting my Last.fm link above will show a general idea of my listening habits.)
