Jolin Tsai in the Music Video

Prior to its release on August 8, 2010, the MV was highly anticipated due to the revealing body suit Jolin was to wear in one of the scenes. The music video was said to have a story where the male lead is cheating on the female lead (played by Jolin), eventually leaving her heartbroken. Instead of crying about it, she is seen releasing her pain away in a bathtub as well as healing through dancing.

The music video opens with the song title and Jolin's name displayed in front of a black background in a holographic text. It starts with Jolin exiting an unknown building and walking down a flight of stairs while calling someone. She is unable to get through to the person and thus heads to her car. While this occurs, a short cut-scene comes up showing a male character (played by Vivian Dawson) checking his phone in front of another girl and disregarding it. As the song starts, Jolin is seen driving off in her car with various other scenes of the male lead and other female character getting intimate. The scene then switches to Jolin singing the first verse in a tight yellow outfit in front of a background made of flowing tinsel while switching between one where she is front of a mirror. As this continues, Jolin calls her boyfriend, although he once again disregards it. She soon starts to undress and while still wearing a revealing black outfit, she is seen stretching across the floor with numerous Pepsi cans surrounding her.

As the chorus breaks out, Jolin is seen lipsynching in front of the tinsel background. Throughout this time, flashbacks of her relationship with the male lead come up, showing an almost happy couple. This continues into the second verse, although interspersed are captures of Jolin in an earlier outfit in almost a sensual and confused look with Pepsi cans surrounding her once again.

As the second chorus ends and transitions to the bridge, Jolin is seen with a stronger expression on her face. She then slowly takes off the black outfit revealing yet another more sensual outfit underneath, in the meantime dancing off the pain on sofa. During the bridge, scenes constantly switch back and forth between a lonely Jolin, flashbacks of her relationship with the male lead as well as the male lead flirting the other female character. The final chorus of the song has Jolin singing in a white bathtub with numerous cut-scenes of the male lead looking as though he regrets his actions. While in the bathtub, the upper half of Jolin's body is censored. The music video closes the same way as it started with the displaying of the song title and Jolin's name in front of a solid black background.
