"Watashi wo Tadoru Monogatari" is the fourth single released by Kumaki Anri and first one under KING RECORDS. The title track was used as the insert song for the seventh season of the drama 3-nen B-gumi Kinpachi Sensei and "Hitotsu / Futatsu (Futatsubun no Hitotsu)" was also used as the insert song for the drama Kokoro. The title track and the song "Anata ni Aitai" were released two months earlier on her second album Mu Kara Deta Sabi. The single reached #48 on the Oricon weekly charts, and charted for 3 weeks, selling 4,461 copies.
