Information

"Way to Love" is the third single released by Karasawa Miho. It was used as an insert song for the Fuji TV dorama Love Revolution. This is her first single to feature her own lyrics. The single ended up becoming Karasawa's break through hit. After the release of two non-charting singles "Way to Love" reached #10 on the weekly Oricon chart, and continued to rank for a total of twelve weeks, selling 176,580 copies.

In 2010, rapper SoulJa recorded a answer song titled "Way to Love ~Saigo no Koi~" featuring Karasawa. Because of this Karasawa's original version was made available as a digital download and sold well. It was ranked #98 on Japanese iTunes best sellers list for 2010. It was also certified Gold for Chaku Uta Full downloads for over 100,000 in sales.

In February 2014, Recording Industry Association of Japan awarded "Way to Love" a Gold certification for over 100,000 downloads (following the merger of the Chaku Uta full and PC download categories). The song was covered by Yamaguchi Lisa in 2016 during her YouTube cover series.[1]
