Yasui Kazumi

Yasui Kazumi (安井かずみ) was a former Japanese lyricist. After graduating from college, Yasui startrf to write lyrics for many artists including Ito Yukari, which the song "Oshaberi na Shinju" won Yasui's Best Lyrics Award at the 7th Annual Japan Record Taishou. Over the next three decades, Yasui wrote over 4,000 song lyrics.

In 1977, Yasui married musician Ito Kazuhito. Sadly, Yasui died seventeen years later in 1994 due to lung cancer at the age of 55.
