"GOOD MORNING WORLD" is the third single recorded by Kahimi Karie. This is Kahimi's first single released in a year and her first under Trattoria. It is produced by Momus. "GOOD MORNING WORLD" was used as cosmetics commercial song. The B-side is produced by Oyamada Keigo and was featured a few months earlier on Kahimi's third mini-album LEUR L'EXISTENCE; the original release credited the song to the Japanese title "Wakakusa no Koro". Both tracks received music videos.
It is her first single to rank on the weekly Oricon chart, peaking in the top 5. "GOOD MORNING WORLD" is Kahimi's second best selling single. This single marked a peak in both Kahimi and her boyfriend and collaborator CORNELIUS' careers which was part of the second wave of Shibuya-Kei.[1]
