Information

"Ai ga Umareta Hi" is Fujitani Miwako's debut single. The title track was a collaboration with fellow actor Ouchi Yoshiaki and it was used as the theme song for the NTV dorama Sono Uchi Kekkon Suru Kimi e. The single reached #5 on the weekly Oricon charts and charted for forty-eight weeks, selling 1,142,790 copies. It also reached #13 on the yearly Oricon charts for 1994.

Due to the popularity of the song, Fujitani and Miwako performed at the 27th Annual Kouhaku Uta Gassen. The single also won the Excellence Award at the 36th Annual Nihon Record Taisho and the grand prix award at the 27th Annual Zen Nihon Yuusenhousou Taisho.
