Akutsu Kentaro (阿久津健太郎) is a Japanese lyricist, composer, guitarist, and former member of the musical group ZERO. Akutsu started his career after winning the Folk Guitar award at the Geneon Superboy Contest. He also debuted an actor a year after in the Fuji TV dorama Houkago. Later on, he debuted as a singer-songwriter with the single "DREAM AGAIN" in 1995. He then joined forces with his younger sister, Akutsu Ai, to create the group ZERO in 1996 for three years till their breakup in 1999. Afterwards, he started to compose and write lyrics for many artists under the Vision Factory label.

In 2003, he joined the band HAV for two years until the band broke up in 2005.
