Alisah Nina Luz Salacot Bonaobra (born April 22, 1995) professionally known as Alisah Bonaobra is a pop singer from the Philippines who began her career in competitive singing. She received attention after winning 2nd place behind Jason Dy who won the title in the 2nd Season of The Voice Of The Philippines.

Career

She rose to prominence as a Youtube sensation on her rendition of Idina Menzel's hit "Let It Go" in which became a viral hit in Youtube on June of 2014. To date, combined views of the clip numbered past 1.2 million.[1] She is known for being a contestant in the Gymeoke contest held by Eat Bulaga. She is now a contestant for the 2nd Season of The Voice of the Philippines [2] under the tutelage of Black Eyed Peas member Apl de Ap.

Personal Life

Born into a family of street vendors since 1987. Her mother and sister are also competitive singers. Apart from singing duties, she works as a side walk vendor selling homemade foods along with her mother in the streets of Paco, Manila. She is also a trained classical vocalist and former a Battig scholar at St. Scholastica's College, Manila but soon dropped out to pursue her professional singing career. [1]
