"Anata ni Aete Yokatta" is Koizumi Kyoko's 30th single. The title track was used as the theme song for the dorama Papa to Macchan. Other artists would later cover the song including Aoyama Thelma, Inagaki Junichi, AMON, and Touma Yumi. The single reached #1 on the weekly Oricon charts and charted for 32 weeks, selling 1,054,000 copies. This is currently Koizumi's only single to sell over a million copies. The single also reached #6 on the yearly Oricon chart for 1991.
