Ayaka's Surprise English Lesson

Ayaka's Surprise English Lesson (ココナッツ娘。アヤカのとつげき英会話) was a segment on the show Bishoujo Kyouiku and later Bishoujo Kyouiku II in 2001 and 2002. It was hosted by Coconuts Musume member Kimura Ayaka who speaks fluent English and Japanese.

Each segment consisted of her accosting or luring a Morning Musume member and administering an English lesson to them. She would say a phrase and they would attempt to repeat it back, usually failing miserably. Early on in the series she would surprise them again a couple of months later with a test to see if they remembered their phrases. Later she would entice them with games, treats and rewards.

Bishoujo Kyouiku II ended in late 2002 and so the series. There are 206 episodes, each lasting a minute or two.
