"DANCING SHOES" is Matsuda Seiko's 22nd single and first English single. It was released under the stage name "SEIKO", on the same date as Matsuda's wedding day with actor Kanda Masaki. Although she reached the #1 on Oricon charts and charted for 10 weeks, it become her lowest selling single to date with nearly 200,000 copies sold. "DANCING SHOES" is her only pre-1989 single that wasn't re-released in CD format in 2004.
