Gift for Fanks is TM NETWORK's first best album. First pressings of the album came with a slipcase and special photos of the band's members. Since originally released in 1987, the album has seen numerous reprints over the years due to the band's growing popularity and advance audio technology. The original 1985 release reached #1 on the weekly Oricon charts, selling over 454,000 copies.
