Greatest Live Hits is the fifth best album, and first live best, released by dream and one of two retrospective albums released to celebrate their 7th anniversary. The first disc contains 15 live tracks recorded between 2001 and 2002 (the final year of the group's 3-member period), The second disc contains 15 live tracks recorded between 2002 and 2006. First press editions included one random of eight trading cards. The album's working title was dream LIVE Best Selection. The album reached #293 on the weekly Oricon charts and charted for two weeks.
