Seung Yeon is a korean pop singer of DSP Entertainment's group KARA. She was one of the 4 original group members and she is also the second oldest.

Information

She debuted as a child actress in a cameo role in Star in My Heart in 1997. She appeared in SS501[[Image:|none]]'s Japanese MV Lucky Days and was VJ for MSL Break from 2007 to 2008. Han replaced Tiffany of SNSD as co-host of Sonyeo Sonyeon Gayo Baekso (SSGB) with Kim Hye Sung, later with actor Kim Soo Hyeon. She also became part of MBC's entertainment news show Section TV as a "pop columnist", debuting on November 21, 2008. She also made a guest appearance on rapper Nassun's single "놀러와" ("Come to Play"), which was released in March 2009. She also took part in the OST for the movie, "Welcome to my House" and released her first solo entitled "기적" ("Miracle"). Han Seung Yeon almost got into medical school but gave it up because she wanted to be a singer instead. Her parents were initially resistant to the change but eventually gave their consent.
