"Hatenaku Tsuzuku Story" is the eighth single released by MISIA, and first release with Rhythmedia Tribe, avex trax sublabel. The title track was used as the NHK broadcast of 2002 Olympic Winter Games theme song.
The single reached #3 on the Oricon charts, and charted for seven weeks and selling 181,210 copies. It also reached #68 on the yearly Oricon charts for 2002.
