"Honto no Jibun" is the debut single released by Buono!. "Honto no Jibun" is used as the first ending theme song for the anime Shugo Chara!, while "Kokoro no Tamago" is used as the first opening theme song for the same anime. The single was released in both limited and regular editions; the limited coming with a bonus DVD. The limited edition and the first press of the regular edition came with a Buono! original trading card. The single reached #5 on the Oricon charts and charted for twelve weeks, selling 42,035 copies.
