"L.O.T. (Love Or Truth)" is the fifth single (third major single) released by m-flo. This single was released together with their sixth single, "chronopsychology". The song was used as the ending theme song to the ANB TV dorama Best Friend, and the song has been described as the group's first ballad[1]. In 2009, the song was covered by BENI on the m-flo tribute album, m-flo TRIBUTE ~maison de m-flo~. It was also covered in 2011 by SHUNYA for the tribute album, m-flo TRIBUTE ~stitch the future and past~.
The single reached #20 on the weekly Oricon chart, and stayed on the chart for a total of five weeks. Despite the single debuted significantly lower on the chart than their previous single, this single sold more, making it their fifth best-selling single[2].
