Pre-Debut, Debut & Departure from ILUV
In 2019, she was a member of the pre-debut team Moonlight Girls under NDS Entertainment. She left the group in the same year. Later she joined the "Dream and Challenge" project released by WKS ENE to find new members for the girl group ILUV. She debuted in the group on November 11 with the digital single "Muneul Yeoreojwo (OPEN THE DOOR)".
After failed attempts, she announced on July 12, 2020 via her Instagram that she finally terminated her contract with the company based on the fact that WKS ENE didn't fulfill their obligations towards her.
Bullying Allegations, Lawsuit & Retirement
On the same day that she announced the termination of her contract, she revealed through her YouTube channel that she has been diagnosed with depression, panic disorder, and insomnia. On July 13, 2020, Minah published on her Instagram story that all of the other ILUV members, except Soyeon had physically and mentally bullied her. She also revealed that some members were preparing to debut in the new WKS ENE girl group called BOTOPASS. In another Instagram post, she revealed that WKS ENE called her advising to keep the case as a secret. She said she wouldn't do that and wanted an apology. On July 15, she tried to take her own life.
On July 16, WKS ENE released a official statement saying that all the allegations towards the members were false and "a result of her mental health issues".
On July 23, she was hospitalized after fainting and stayed at the hospital for a while. On September 9, she once again tried to take her own life.
WKS ENE sued Minah for defamation and spreading false information and the case was forwarded to prosecution in December. On July 23, 2021, it was revealed that the charges were dropped by the police after they deemed her not guilty. In a interview, Minah revealead that she is in talks with her lawyers to decide whether or not to press charges against the company. She also announced that she doesn't has plans to go back to idol life and is currently studying psychology to help people in similar situations to her.
