Penny Rain is the second part of the fifth studio album released by Aimer. It was released simultaneously with the first part of the album, titled Sun Dance, and as part of the Sun Dance & Penny Rain compilation album. She created the album with the image of "rain" as an inspiration and the result was an album with a darker theme and emotional ballad songs.
