"Play Ball / Sakamichi no Melody" is the twenty-fourth single released by YUKI. "Sakamichi no Melody" was used as the opening theme song for the anime Sakamichi no Apollo, produced by Kanno Yoko. The limited edition includes a bonus DVD and a sticker featuring an illustration of the anime. The single reached #3 on the Oricon weekly charts and charted for 11 weeks.
