PURPLE is the fourth studio album released by YU-A. It was released in to editions: a CD+DVD edition and a regular CD edition. PURPLE shows quite a change in style for YU-A; Many of the songs are in the realm of pop and electronic music instead of her signature Japanese urban sound. The album reached #49 on the weekly Oricon chart, and it continued to rank for a total of three weeks, selling 2,704 copies.
